Unfortunately, my overall experience was quite disappointing. The hotel itself felt very outdated and not well-maintained, with issues such as noisy plumbing and dirty corners in the room. The staff were aloof and unhelpful at times, which added to the frustrating stay.

this hotel really leaves a lot to be desired. my bathroom door handle was missing, and the tv didn’t work. after switching rooms, i ended up with a furnace masquerading as a room. looking for a bottle of water? good luck finding a plug for the kettle. i almost thought to leave a good review, but that just couldn’t happen.

The location of The New Osterley makes it very convenient for exploring Blackpool. It's just a short walk away from the main attractions, making it easy to get to places like the Tower. the room I stayed in had multiple issues. It was not clean. I found stains on the mattress and walls and even discovered a blood stain on the ceiling, which was quite unsettling. The communal toilet next to my room made the experience less comfortable. The lack of Wi-Fi in the room was frustrating, forcing me to stay in the reception area to get a decent connection. The noise from other guests was unbearable, especially at night. For the price, the condition of the facilities was disappointing, and I expected better. The staff did their best, but they were clearly overwhelmed with the issues around the hotel.

came back to blackpool and The New Osterley was a great choice. the staff were super welcoming and the room was clean and comfy. It had all the basics. overall, it exceeded my expectations for a budget hotel stay.
